WWW: You’ve made an excellent start in GCSE Media – well done! I really like your opening questions with regards to your interest in the impact of social media and also looking forward to our Marvel study (coming up just before Christmas!) In terms of creative work, your fruit bowl is absolutely stunning – you’ve captured the winter palette beautifully. Keep up the good work! 
 
EBI: One piece of work missing – the mise-en-scene Stranger Things analysis. Is it in drafts or were you absent for this? With GCSE work you still need to catch up even if you missed a lesson.

I feel like my strongest piece of media so far is my fruit bowl as I think I have done the winter theme really well on the fruit bowl.

I think my weakest piece of media so far is my camera work blog task as I did not know how the explain it well.

I need to develop my explaining skills.

Camera work Doctor Who: The opening is a medium close up shot (MCU) as it shows from head to waist, this shows the lady talking to her friends online, and also showing us some of her sorroundings. On the time 0:31 , there is a close up shot of the girls face as you can see the top of her head to her chin, to show how she feels through her expressions which are agitated. while she is speaking into the camera. On the time 3:45 , there is an establishing shot showing space, to show where the radio signal is travelling to and just how strong it is. 3:30  is a high angle shot looking down at the man, making him look powerless and short compared to creation he is looking up at, this makes the audience worry and want to know what is going to happen next as the character looks scared and he has no power in this situation.
