The time support the conservatives and it is more focused on the central story, the Mirror focuses on multiple different stories at once and uses more images to divert the audience.

3) How is the Times front page designed to reflect broadsheet newspaper conventions?
Its got a crest on the front page as its a prestigious newspaper, there's non celebrity gossip as the kicker, a big chunk of text, cost which is double the price from daily mirror

4) How can you tell the inside pages of the Times are a broadsheet newspaper?
It has higher register vocab which is appealing to their preferred higher class and educated audience, lack of focus on jujitsu who have government connections, brings in political parties and views

5) What does a close analysis of the news stories in the Times CSP edition suggest about the Times's political beliefs?
The Times supports the right wing Conservative Party. newspaper acts as a voice for the establishment (the wealthy and powerful) and will not support anything that threatens major changes to the status quo (how things currently are). This can be found in the front cover of the Times we need to study as the newspaper is not supporting the individuals that lost millions as a result of the scandal.

Representations

1) How does the Times represent the Post Office workers and Fujitsu in the CSP pages?
The post office workers are in need of help from the government to overturn court cases in order to gain money back. Whereas fujitsu is barely mentioned as they are trying to shift the blame away from them and on the IT workers.

They try to take the blame away from them as they work for the conservative party.

5) What opinion would Times readers be likely to have about Vennells, the Post Office workers and Fujitsu from reading these pages?
Venells would be represented as a sympathetic victim of public backlash and the post office workers would be seen as helpless and in need of conservative help and fujitsu would be painted as almost not involved at all.
